Technical Auditing
A Technical Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity, designed to assess both the effectiveness and efficiency of an organisation's operations. Techlift provide a completely independent 3rd party Technical Auditing service, carrying out a comprehensive and impartial analysis of contractor’s proposals for lifting, marine and transport operations.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the proposals and procedures of their contractors and suppliers meet the appropriate technical standards and regulations that govern them. Acting on behalf of our clients, Techlift carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the contractor’s documentation, performing engineering checks, design reviews and safety analysis of the proposed methods and procedures. Technical Audit results are documented in a detailed report providing the client with an invaluable risk management strategy.
Techlift continue this process into the field ensuring that the contractor complies with the client’s procedures, relevant statutory regulations and best practices. Techlift personnel work closely with the contractors team ensuring the approved methods are followed and if necessary reviewing and approving any amendments.
